Road Kill Carpet Sends Foreboding Message to Guests, Pets

The Road Kill Carpet from OOOMS Dutch Design is, admittedly, way scary, but doesn't it also look touchably soft? Don't you kind of want to put it in your living room as a conversation piece and/or constant warning message to your cat? I imagine the conversation started by this rug would be something along the lines of:

GUEST: Oh, that's an interesting piece, what is - oh, ohgod, ohgodohgodohgod, is that. Is that an animal? Have you, have you slaughtered an animal?
YOU: From OOOMS Design!
YOU: [wink]
YOU: Available in Spring 2009!
GUEST: [thumbs up, grin at camera] It's gore-tastic.

As a side note, you should probably do something about that camera in your living room.

You gotta love the ad copy from the seller on that rug, though. "The Road Kill carpet is a continues struggle between attraction and repulsion."

Actually, every piece of copy on their site seems to be written by J. Peterman's suicidal cousin from Belarus or a staff member from Woot! What's with that OOOMS Design? Why you gotta make a man question his own sanity just to sell him a thing?

The descriptions are all very Dutch, which is part of why I love that site. And I kind of want one too, Alex, but I am caught in that continuous struggle between attraction and repulsion.
